1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Airport Acumen portal, website, or any related services ("Portal"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you must not use the Portal.

2. Purpose of the Portal

Airport Acumen provides an industry knowledge and collaboration platform for the airport community and associated technology providers, including (but not limited to):

• airport business terms and definitions
• metrics, reports, and use cases
• data models, datasets, and data quality rules
• reference datasets and community-curated materials
• designs, documentation, and conceptual frameworks

Content is provided for informational and professional use only.

3. Eligibility

You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement under applicable law. If you use the Portal on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that organisation.

4. Intellectual Property Rights

4.1 Ownership

• The Portal software, structure, workflows, branding, and design are owned by or licensed to Airport Acumen.
• Individual Content items may be owned by Airport Acumen, contributors, airports, standards bodies, or other third parties.

4.2 Database Rights

The structured collections of Content on the Portal are protected by UK and EU database rights. You must not extract or reuse all or any substantial part of the databases except as expressly permitted under these Terms.

5. License to Use Content

Airport Acumen grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Content for:

• internal business purposes
• education and training
• development, testing, and improvement of airport-related products and services

You may not:

• republish, resell, sublicense, or publicly distribute Content as a standalone reference or competing service
• represent Content as an official standard or regulatory material unless explicitly stated
• remove copyright, attribution, or licence notices

Reasonable attribution must be given where Content is referenced.

6. Pricing and Access

• The Portal is currently available free of charge.
• Airport Acumen may introduce paid access to certain Content, tools, datasets, APIs, or features in the future.
• Paid features will be clearly identified prior to purchase.
• Access tiers may differ between user types (e.g. airports, technology providers).
• Continued free access is not guaranteed.

7. User Accounts

You are responsible for all activity conducted through your account and for keeping login credentials secure. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.

8. User-Generated Content

8.1 Responsibility

Users are solely responsible for any content they submit, propose, or upload ("User Content").

8.2 Licence to Airport Acumen

By submitting User Content, you grant Airport Acumen a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, sublicensable licence to host, store, modify (for formatting and clarity), publish, and distribute that content as part of the Portal.

8.3 Editorial Control

All submissions are subject to review and approval workflows. Airport Acumen may accept, reject, modify, or remove content at its discretion.

9. Prohibited Use

You must not:

• submit infringing, unlawful, misleading, or confidential material
• upload malware or attempt unauthorised access
• scrape or harvest Content at scale without permission
• misuse Content in a way that harms the Portal or its community
